WASHINGTON – An official declaration from President Donald Trump has informed Congress that fentanyl is still being produced in clandestine Canadian labs and that Chinese gangs are operating along the northern border of the United States, while the People’s Republic of China “continues to be the world’s largest producer of many of the precursor chemicals used to illicitly produce fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other deadly synthetic drugs.”
