Greta Thunberg has joined a pro-Palestinian backlash against Ed Sheeran after a rapper was dropped from the British singer’s US tour.
The Swedish activist said Sheeran being “cancelled” showed that “global consciousness has shifted” in support of Palestinian causes.
The controversy erupted after Macklemore, a US rapper, called for a “free Palestine” onstage at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this month while supporting the American leg of Sheeran’s Loop tour.
