LILLEY: Ontario’s opposition is letting Doug Ford off the hook

It’s been almost five months since Ontario’s legislature met. It’s not like headlines have been kind to the Ford government in that time.

We have an OSAP scandal unfolding, a cabinet minister resigned over questionable hotel expenses, housing starts are flat, unemployment is above the national average, the Skills Development Fund currently being investigated by the Integrity Commissioner is the gift that keeps on giving, and over the summer we passed the three-year anniversary of the RCMP investigating the Greenbelt.

Why would the opposition start a fight with their leader?
