The US will open two military bases in Greenland after Donald Trump struck a deal on the security of the island, it has been revealed.
Last week, the US president announced a broad agreement with Denmark after months of threatening to take the semi-autonomous Arctic territory by force.
Details have emerged suggesting that a Cold War-era military base at Narsarsuaq in southern Greenland would be reopened.
