Anecdotal evidence is still evidence—which is then almost always backed up by the data.
This morning while driving my son to school, I was behind someone who was driving like a total a-hole. He/she was speeding through the school zones (there’s three schools all on the same half-mile stretch of road), and he/she was absolutely riding the person in front. I made an educated guess, and predicted the driver was… black. And it turned out I was right: the driver was a black woman, and there were a couple of kids jumping around in the backseat, none of them buckled up.
She wasn’t even driving the car and yet somehow everyone still blames the black woman for causing the wreck. Systemic racism is real. https://t.co/Kz7msG6viW
