Americans have been trying their hand at Canadian political punditry as relations between our two countries continue to spiral downward, showing frankly no real insights.
But one politician-turned-pundit, U.S. Vice-President JD Vance, may have been on to something when he recently called Pierre Poilievre a “non-entity.”
In remarks made available to Canadian Press last month, Vance referred to the Conservative leader as “this guy Pierre Poilievre or something,” and told the fundraiser audience that he was a non-entity when it came to trade negotiations.
