There are some things Canadians simply assume about their country.
We assume we can patrol our own Arctic. We assume we can defend our borders. And, as it turns out, most of us assume that a country with its own space agency, a world-class aerospace sector, and an astronaut who flew around the Moon can launch a satellite from Canadian soil.
But in reality we can’t.
