YOU MAY remember the bold open letter sent by Bishop Ceirion H Dewar FSHC in March to King Charles III. In it he warned His Majesty of the ‘erosion of Britain’s Christian inheritance’ and urged the monarch to take action. We reported it here. He could not remain silent, he wrote, as he witnessed the steady dismantling of the Christian foundations of our country, Charles’s kingdom.

The Duke of Sussex fears his children will not meet King Charles in the coming days after their UK visit was “pulled out from under their feet at the 11th hour”.
Prince Harry and Meghan were planning their first trip to Britain as a family in four years for events related to the Invictus Games, due to be held in Birmingham in July.

Donald Trump has said the Duke of Sussex was “not speaking for the UK” when he called for the US to show “leadership” on Ukraine – comments which came days before King Charles was due to meet the president.
Speaking on a visit to Kyiv, and without mentioning Trump, Prince Harry said the US should “show that it can honour its international treaty obligations – not out of charity but out of its enduring role in global security and strategic stability”.
Asked about the remarks, Trump said: “Prince Harry? How’s he doing? How’s his wife? Please give her my regards.
