If Kyle Rittenhouse were black, would he be in prison today after being convicted of murder? Or would he never even have faced trial, because he would have been killed by police on that fateful night in Kenosha when he was attacked by Antifa thugs? Many people are claiming that his acquittal proves that there is a double standard in the American justice system. Once again, however, reality differs from the Leftist narrative: on the same day that Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted, a black man named Andrew Coffee IV was also acquitted of murder charges on the grounds of self-defense.

The aftermath of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict is a lesson in unrequited rage. After a jury of 12 citizens in Kenosha, Wis., acquitted Rittenhouse on all charges, politicians and media figures lashed out at the judge, the jury and the entire legal system.

Like our politics and our media, the legal system has become a vehicle for collective rage; there is no room for doubt or deviation from our predispositions. Yet in denouncing “vigilante justice,” pundits and politicians seem to be advocating for a form of mob justice.

The NBA, known for kowtowing to China over human rights violations, released a statement following the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse that claimed he was a vigilante and the men who attacked him were peacefully protesting.

Disappointed, prosecutor Thomas Binger, who has been heavily criticized for his actions during the case, sat back in his chair, looked at the ceiling, and issued a sigh as the first verdict in the Kenosha murder trial came in.

Defense lawyer Mark Richards did not hold back, blasting the Kyle Rittenhouse prosecutor within minutes of the end of the trial in Wisconsin.

‘Prosecutors are supposed to seek the truth — it’s not about winning,’ he said.

Kyle Rittenhouse is now a free man after fatally shooting two men and wounding a third during anti-racism protests last year, but his trial has left behind a divided America – and done little to ease tensions in the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, where the killings took place.

Rittenhouse, 18, who faced charges of homicide, was acquitted in full on the grounds of self-defense. But the jury’s decision did not calm the people outside the Kenosha county courthouse in the hours after news of the verdict rippled across the city, and the rest of the United States.

The shouting matches that flared on the courthouse steps between supporters of opposing sides embodied the wildly different lenses through which a divided America viewed the case.

Kyle Rittenhouse is now a free man, but he’s far from leaving the spotlight.

Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson revealed Friday that there was a Fox Nation crew filming for a Tucker Carlson Original documentary that will appear on the streaming platform in December. He will also sit down with Rittenhouse this Monday during Fox News Channel primetime for the young man’s first televised interview following his not guilty verdict.

But Rittenhouse’s lawyer, Mark Richards, told CNN he ‘did not approve of that,’ referring to the film crew being with Rittenhouse during the trial, and even ‘threw them out of the room several times.’

President Biden is ‘angry and concerned’ after Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges Friday, but says he stands by the jury’s decision.

The president weighed in on the divisive, high-profile case hours after the verdict was read, telling reporters, ‘I stand with the jury as the jury system has concluded. The jury system works and you have to abide by it.’

In an attempt to placate both sides, he later released a statement that read: ‘While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken.

At least one person on this jury seems to want to make Rittenhouse pay for taking the lives of others — though it’s clear they attacked him.

A friend last weekend texted me, “Had no idea Kyle shot 3 white guys. Not that it matters. But it’s been painted as a hate crime.”

My friend — a Democrat and a law student at Berkeley — was referring to the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. Now, where, oh where, might my friend have gotten the impression that Rittenhouse had shot men who were anything but white as snow?

Why so many got this story so wrong.

Here is what I thought was true about Kyle Rittenhouse during the last days of August 2020 based on mainstream media accounts: The 17-year-old was a racist vigilante. I thought he drove across state lines, to Kenosha, Wisc., with an illegally acquired semi-automatic rifle to a town to which he had no connection. I thought he went there because he knew there were Black Lives Matter protests and he wanted to start a fight. And I thought that by the end of the evening of August 25, 2020, he had done just that, killing two peaceful protestors and injuring a third.

It turns out that account was mostly wrong.

A career criminal and convicted felon with an open domestic violence charge has claimed to be the unidentified male at whom Kyle Rittenhouse shot twice at close range but missed, on the night of August 25, 2020.

Rittenhouse has been charged with First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety of the man known in trial only as ‘jump-kick man,’ for the flying kick he took at the teenager’s head as Rittenhouse was attacked minutes after he shot Joseph Rosenbaum dead.

Now Maurice Freeland, 39, has admitted that he was the one who kicked Rittenhouse in the head and narrowly avoided being shot as a result, after the then 17-year-old stumbled to the ground as he attempted to flee.

Of all the willful lies and omissions in the media’s coverage of the Steele dossier, Brian Sicknick, the Covington kids, Jussie Smollett, the Wuhan lab, Hunter Biden’s laptop and so on, nothing beats the evil propaganda peddled about Kyle Rittenhouse.

They try to make the Rittenhouse case about race, but it’s about class, punching down at the white working-class son of a single mother because they don’t see him as fully human, and it makes them feel good.

They lie about him because they can.
