The mysterious, believed to be self-inflicted shooting death of a 19-year-old boy on the University of Toronto-Mississauga campus is now in the hands of the province’s Special Investigations Unit.
A 19-year-old man was found deceased early this morning in the area of University of Toronto Mississauga. As Peel Regional Police officers were in and around the scene at the time of the man’s death, the SIU was “notified and invoked its mandate,” it said in a media release.
