A truck-driving couple from the Toronto area has been arrested on smuggling charges in a major alleged recent drug bust on the Blue Water Bridge.
Mohammad Arain, 58, and Aliya Arain, 47, who live in a Vaughan suburb, were arrested Oct. 11 on the Canadian side of the twin-span bridge connecting the Sarnia area with Michigan and charged with importing cocaine and possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, court records show.
