OTTAWA — Earlier this month, with MPs still on summer break, a group of Canadians with a deep distrust of the federal government descended on a parliamentary committee room to tell politicians they felt lied to.
The men and women from across the country came to Conservative MP Dean Allison’s event about COVID-19 vaccines, the injuries and deaths they believe were caused by them, and the vaccine injury support program, which the government recently took back from the private contractor overseeing it.
