During the first 10 years of Liberal government — the Trudeau years — business investment per worker in Canada fell 18.8 per cent from $20,310 in 2014 to $16,493 in 2024 (inflation adjusted), according to the Fraser Institute.
Over the same period, U.S. business investment per worker rose 31.3 per cent from $23,263 to $30,555, which means U.S. investment levels are now nearly double ours.
