After multiple delays and postponements, first in Bologna and later in Hamburg, the trial of Serhii Kuznetsov has at last begun.
Kuznetsov faces charges of complicity in a war crime involving destruction of civilian assets, organisation of an act using explosives, destruction of structures and obstruction of the work of enterprises that serve public needs. He faces up to 15 years jail, showing that the German federal republic takes this war crime stuff really seriously.
