🚨 BREAKING: Multiple people are dead after a shooting at a quiet California beach.
Just after midnight Monday, gunfire broke out along Jetty Road near Moss Landing State Beach in Monterey County. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office confirms “multiple fatalities and casualties.”
Moss Landing is a small fishing town on the Monterey Bay. Jetty Road is a half mile road behind the dunes where people go to fish and watch birds. Not exactly where you expect a mass shooting.
What we still don’t know: how many were killed, how many were hurt, who the victims were, why it happened, and whether anyone is in custody. Officials have not released any of that yet. Police say there is no active threat to the community. Jetty Road and the state beach are closed.
Another weekend of bloodshed, and this time in a beach town. Pray for these families. And when we find out who did this, the common sense question is whether the system already knew this person.
Is it time to get serious about violent criminals? YES or NO 👇🏾
