The officer killed during a shootout in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood on Monday has been identified as Const. Mohamed Lamine Benredouane.
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm the tragic death of Constable Mohamed Lamine Benredouane while on duty protecting the public,” reads a statement from Montreal police (SPVM) issued Monday evening.
