The Toronto District School Board’s former top lawyer is suing the board and his ex-boss for more than $3.3 million, alleging he was effectively forced from his role after being subjected to an antisemitic and discriminatory work environment which damaged his health and career.
In a statement of claim filed on May 19 with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the board’s former interim executive officer of legal services, Paul Koven, alleges the board and its former general counsel violated his human rights.
