BCF has been down off and on for a couple of hours leaving a frightened world isolated and without guidance.

We apologize but our firewall provider came under attack and everything go BOOM!

Update, comments are showing in some posts, at least for me, but remain invisible in other posts despite the counter indicating multiple comments have been made. Let me know if you have started to see any comments.

All the power went out around 8:30 AM in my building.

Toronto Hydro initially said to expect a fix no sooner than 4:30 PM but surprise surprise at about 12:45 PM the place lit up.

No damage that I can see.

Thank our pal Sarcasticat for filling in for me while I was down.

All about the cookies. This is a solution, it is not a Disqus fix but apparently it does work.

Some readers are reporting that Disqus is not loading.

Disqus is aware of the matter and are working on a fix.

In the interim please try a different browser, that has worked for some for unknown reasons.

Update – seems it was a Statcounter plugin issue. Once I disabled it the site loaded fine

Update is complete! Things seem to be working well! I will leave this post up overnight as an advisory if we experience any further downtime.
