Alex Soros wants to set the record straight: what might look like a retreat in Europe is really just a shifting of priorities to head off the swelling tide of freedom and populism in the West, or what Soros calls the “MAGA-style Republican” movement and President Donald Trump.
News of Open Society’s European demise appears to have been greatly exaggerated as Alexander Soros, the newly anointed heir to the civic society network, affirmed his commitment to the continent and outlined his wish to redouble efforts in Poland and Ukraine in a column with the pro-Atlanticist Politico publication this week.

Elon Musk slammed George Soros for “arbitraging politics” and warned the public that the leftist billionaire “hates humanity.”
Musk was responding to Soros’s efforts to elect soft-on-crime district attorneys who have destroyed great American cities by turning them over to violent criminals.
