🚨🇵🇱 A Polish police officer confronted the HEAVILY armed gunman in Kraków and helped bring a DEADLY shooting rampage to an end.
The attacker was apparently wearing Polish Army camouflage, a helmet and BODY ARMOR.
His weapon is believed to have been a Haenel CR carbine or a similar AR-15-style rifle fitted with an optical sight.
FIVE people were killed and more than a dozen wounded after the gunman opened fire in the city’s historic Main Market Square.
Police shot and wounded the suspect, with officers also injured during the confrontation.
The officer who faced him was risking his life against someone apparently equipped for a serious firefight.
How many more people could have been killed without that intervention?
