Toronto mayoral candidate Brad Bradford says if elected mayor, he would open the city’s subway system two hours earlier on the day of the Waterfront Marathon, saying Olivia Chow has a “pattern” of failing to properly plan transit service around major events.
Bradford made the announcement Sunday, as more than 31,000 runners from over 75 countries attended the weekend’s marathon, which began at 8 a.m., the same time regular subway service starts.
