Police officers are required to write essays on how to build an “anti-racist police service” as part of their training, documents obtained by The Telegraph show.
Officers at Surrey Police have been told to write 500-word “reflections” on how they feel about the force’s stance on racism after taking part in lessons on diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI).
The lessons are part of DEI training courses, costing hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayer money, which critics said were being led by “diversity bureaucrats”.
