The rhetoric coming from Democrats is off the charts nuts. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is now saying that the release of the FISA memo alleging abuse by the FBI and the Justice Department could easily lead to a “constitutional crisis.” Yesterday, Donny Deutsch on MSNBC called for a revolt and an uprising in the streets to remove Trump from office. But Pelosi’s fighting words are a bit more nuanced. “It’s appalling. It’s a misrepresentation. It isn’t even a release of intelligence material. It’s a release of a distortion of it. Its purpose is, of course, to thwart the Mueller investigation,” Pelosi said Friday. “If the President uses this fake, horrible release of distorted intelligence as an excuse to fire [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein or [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller, it could lead to a constitutional crisis.” Is that a threat?
Twitter’s systems hid 48 percent of tweets using the #DNCLeak hashtag and 25 percent of tweets using #PodestaEmails, Twitter general counsel Sean Edgett said in his written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.
A conspiracy has been making the rounds that claims that Donald Trumps’s wife and First Lady, Melania Trump, has a body double – with the topic currently trending on the social media site.
What is ‘the social media site’?
“We have exclusive new details about the Russian-linked effort to meddle in the 2016 presidential election,” a breathless Brooke Baldwin breathlessly breathed on CNN.
Then she cut to some other amped-up guys who said the Russians used the mobile game app Pokémon Go to — stay with us here — somehow put Donald Trump in the White House.
…The goal of Operation Pokémon GO: heighten racial tensions…
…”According to CNN logic, African Americans shape their public stance playing Pokemons,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on Facebook, according to RT.com.
“That is how feebly the TV channel explains the emergence of racial problems in modern USA. Russians are to blame again … and the Pokemons they control.”
Studies showing men prefer slim women are “triggering,” “dangerous,” “pointless,” “irresponsible” and don’t “need to exist,” according to Allure magazine.
Officials have made 412 arrests nationwide, including 56 doctors and targeting 200 clinics. The Justice Department said those arrested are responsible for $1.3 billion in fraudulent transactions.
From Matt Vespa at Townhall:
Progressive Editor: Democrats Making Huge Error Obsessing About Russia
No kidding. Trump Derangement Syndrome and its associated conspirazoid thinking are probably the main reason so many people have stood by Trump, despite his gaffes and genuine errors.
The Nation’s editor and publisher Katrina Vanden Huevel warned that Democrats’ obsession about Russia was a mistake and could torpedo efforts to effectively combat the Trump agenda. Granted, the latter part is typical run-of-the-mill progressive talk, The Nation is a left wing magazine, but in March, Vanden Huevel ripped into Democrats for the Neo-McCarthyite furor that has engulfed the party over Russia. She noted that Russian interference during the 2016 election needs to be investigated, but the political Left has devolved into thinking that mere meetings with Russian officials are akin to treason. Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) seems to think that any meeting with the Russians is not appropriate. This is nonsense. Democrats lost, they need some crutch to lean on because they all thought Hillary was going to win. And there’s no way any person could lose to Trump, unless some sort of covert collusion occurred. One big problem: there is zero evidence of any collusion. Even Hillary is starting to peddle conspiracy theories about the collusion allegations, for which she has zero evidence to back up. More.
Reality check: Exactly. Of course the Russians tried to influence the U.S. election. So did Canada, probably. And the U.S. is hardly shy about interfering in foreign elections itself!
There is no evidence that the Russians made any difference. The real story is simple and devastating: The Dems abandoned their historic blue-collar constituency in favour of Cool urban identity groups who did not deliver the goods. And they are they paying for it now. But because they openly despise that older constituency and love the new one, they cannot simply acknowledge their choice as a mistake. Hence the meltdown goes on and on, and on.

Does fake news make a difference in politics?
What can we do about fake news that would not diminish real news?
A citizen researcher from Florida is attempting to have the recording of the infamous Bill Clinton/Loretta Lynch tarmac tape released to the public, but apparently, the National Security Agency claims they won’t release it due to “national security.”
It’s all very hard to tell about anyone’s veracity here, be it the DNC, the cops, Kim DotCom, or this anonymous poster, but we shall see. Hannity has asked Kim to be a guest on his show.
The definition of “obstructing justice” is the meeting between Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Hillary’s disgraced husband, Bill Clinton.
I’ve heard quite a few nutty conspiracy theories from random Twitter trolls, but this one comes from no ordinary troll. This comes straight from Lawrence O’Donnell– as in THE DUDE EMPLOYED BY MSNBC.
He’s so convinced that Putin and Trump are lovers that he floated the deranged idea that Putin told Assad to gas his own people in order to make Trump look good.
The Conservative Party of Canada has removed 1,351 names from its membership list after discovering they were purchased anonymously and inappropriately.
The announcement from the party comes a day after reality TV star and Tory leadership candidate Kevin O’Leary alleged “widespread vote rigging” in the race to replace Stephen Harper as the next permanent leader of the Conservative Party.
This arrived in my inbox this week, evidently widely circulated, it details how the Bernier team aka the Patrick Brown team allegedly employs pre-paid credit cards to generate “grass-roots’ support within ethnic communities. (Open the jpg in a new window for a readable version)
Host Chris Wallace of “Fox News Sunday” spent most of his Sunday show on the subject of whether there is any evidence of Trump officials colluding with Russia to affect the 2016 presidential election. “On the Russian collusion, there’s a lot of smoke, no evidence,” said panelist Bob Woodward of Washington Post Watergate fame.
But we do have substantial evidence of media collusion with the U.S. intelligence community.
There is a lot of breaking news this weekend as the nation learns that a sitting President (Obama) looks to have used the nation’s national security apparatus – which is empowered to protect this nation from foreign enemies and threats – for crass political gain (read “personal gain”). If this is even partially true, this would be Watergate on steroids and irreparably tarnish the Obama administration for all history.
These high stakes may also explain the irrational fear and hate by the democrat leadership we have seen in their scorched-Earth actions since the election. Events may be unraveling on them big time, events that started last summer in a very different world.
“Who knew that simple questions regarding Attorney General Lynch’s approval of billions of dollars in payments to Iran could be so controversial that she would refuse to answer them?” Pompeo said. “This has become the Obama administration’s coping mechanism for anything related to the Islamic Republic of Iran—hide information, obfuscate details, and deny answers to Congress and the American people.”
