Family of Christchurch ‘terrorist’ turned him in after seeing shooting reports

The family of the suspect in the New Zealand mosque shooting contacted the police after seeing reports of the attack that killed at least 49.

It is believed Christchurch suspect Brenton Tarrant’s sister and mum have gone into hiding – after they turned the 28-year-old in and helped Australian police with the investigation.

His grandmother Joyce, 94, said she couldn’t believe her grandson allegedly slaughtered dozens of worshipers and injured 50 more as they attended Friday prayers.
