UPDATE: ‘Transgender Woman’ Arrested by NYPD for Hate Crimes Following Mace Attack Spree
A woman who allegedly pepper-sprayed seven people near Manhattan subway stations Friday was picked up by police Sunday morning, authorities said.
The woman, whose name was not released, was being processed for a separate crime in the Bronx Sunday morning and will be charged with the Manhattan incidents after, police said.
Police are looking into the possibility of a hate crime because all of the victims were white and the suspect is black.
