Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was accused by his former attorney general, Jody Wilson-Raybould, of political interference and pressure to intervene in a criminal court case on behalf of engineering and construction giant SNC-Lavalin. The company—with over $10 billion in revenues and 50,000 employees globally—has allegedly threatened to leave its home province of Quebec for international pastures unless criminal charges were dropped.
