Senate Democrats Introduce Bill To Push Radical ‘Climate Change’ Agenda In K-12 Schools

Titled the “Climate Change Education Act,” the bill was first proposed last April by Senator Edward Markey (D-MA). It would authorize the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to establish a “Climate Change Education Program” and provide grants to develop teacher education programs, create “model State climate change curricula” for K-12 students, and “ensure that students graduate from high school with high climate literacy.”

Of course, these proposals are merely doublespeak for an attempt to use federal dollars and scare tactics to shape the next generation of Americans into radical environmental activists and proponents of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal.

UK Government plans to hit Facebook and Google with huge fines if they fail to eradicate ‘hate speech’ and harmful content.

The British government plans to hit social-media firms with fines potentially worth billions of dollars if they fail to rid their platforms of content considered harmful.

In an interview with Business Insider, the UK’s digital minister, Margot James, said a new independent tech regulator would be given powers to punish companies, including Facebook and Google, found not to properly protect users.

Expect Canada’s Poor GDP numbers to serve as a convenient excuse for another monster-budget

Today, it was announced that Canada’s GDP for the final quarter of 2018 showed signs of economic slowdown. The announcement was quickly followed by a “crushing blow” to the value of the Canadian dollar.

In December, the service sector saw 0.2% growth, while manufacturing and goods-producing decreased by 0.7% each. Oil and gas shrank 0.3%, and support activities for mining and oil and gas fell by 16.8%.

It was the month when Alberta’s NDP premier was forced to cut oil production in order to support prices, which is at least in part thanks to political turmoil around resource development in Canada.

NYPD: MS-13 Planning To Target Off-Duty Cops At Their Homes

CBS2’s Dick Brennan reports that in a bulletin the NYPD put out this alert: “Members of MS-13 are looking to ‘hit’ NYPD police officers, specifically in the Brentwood/Central Islip area as well as possibly Patchogue.”

The bulletin says that the gang members would carry out the attacks on off-duty officers “in order to gain street credibility.”

ISIS terrorist hit with prison, deradicalization program

A former engineering student who wanted to join ISIS could be paroled in as few as three months to start a “deradicalization” plan, a judge ruled Thursday.

Justice John McMahon sentenced Pamir Hakimzadah to four years and one month in prison –plus three years probation — for his terrorism crime. Once credit for time served is subtracted, Hakimzadah has six months remaining and could be paroled in three months.
