Conservative campus activist attacked at UC-Berkeley for sign saying ‘hate crime hoaxes hurt real victims’, says man accused him of ‘promoting violence’ before punching him

A conservative activist who was assaulted on the University of California-Berkeley campus has spoken out.

Hayden Williams spoke with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday night, still sporting a black eye from the violent attack that occurred while he was recruiting for Turning Point USA on Tuesday.

Williams said that he at the recruiting table speaking with a Berkeley student who expressed interest in the group, when two men stormed up behaving ‘erratically’ and began swearing.
