Paris fire: Ten dead as woman arrested for ‘revenge arson attack on fireman neighbour’ at apartment block

At least 10 people died and 37 were injured in an overnight blaze at an apartment block in Paris that police are treating as possible arson.

At least one of the victims is a “young child”, according to the local mayor.

The fire on the upper floors of the building in the rue Erlanger in the upmarket 16th district of southwest Paris is the most deadly in the capital since 2005.
