Cher says America is unsafe for anyone that isn’t a white Trump supporter

Cher took to social media to declare American unsafe for anyone who isn’t a white Trump supporter. The singer’s rant follows a Supreme Court ruling that allows the Pentagon to restrict military service for transgender individuals.

Cher, who is typically outspoken about her distaste for the Trump administration, took to the platform Tuesday to criticize the ruling, which grants authority to enforce a ban on those who identify as transgender from serving in the military while lower courts continue to argue the legality of the policy.

Pope Francis says fear of migrants ‘makes us crazy’

Pope Francis suggested that hostility to immigrants was driven by irrational fear as he began a trip to Central America on Wednesday amid a standoff over President Donald Trump’s promised wall at the U.S.-Mexico border and a new caravan of migrants heading north.

And on Jan. 22, it published the provocative thoughts of Jim Mylonas, a strategist at BCA Research Inc., the Montreal-based research outfit that once employed Stephen Poloz, the Bank of Canada governor. “I think we’re just on the precipice of embarking on a serious recession,” Mylonas told Bloomberg. “It’s not a matter of if, but when.”
