Cortez Asked About Anti-Semitic Women’s March, Blames Trump

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was asked about the anti-Semitic theme of the Women’s March, and her answer was incoherent. She started talking about the “valid” concerns of anti-Semitism in the White House.

The President has a Jewish family, and he has recognized Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel. He is there for the Jewish community.

How things will go down if Ginsburg leaves the SCOTUS

Nothing scares the left more than the prospect of Trump filling another seat on the SCOTUS with a young, fire-breathing constitutionalist who would join with Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh to form a conservative bloc for the ages.

Pelosi and Schumer are praying that Justice Ginsburg survives and remains on the bench until January 1, 2020, when their concern for her well-being ceases. They know that Senate majority leader McConnell could not persuade his entire caucus to abandon the principle he championed in 2016 that a nomination to the Supreme Court in a presidential election year is inappropriate.

‘Isn’t this Canada?’ Union Bay residents banned from public meeting

Union Bay resident Kathy Calder wants to know why she can’t drink her tap water.

Her community, in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, has been on a boil water advisory for more than a month. Calder was looking forward to asking some questions at Thursday night’s Union Bay Improvement District [UBID] public meeting.

However, a letter posted to the district’s website Jan. 10 says residents are banned from attending the public meeting, which consists of elected officials.

US shutdown: Trump angered by Democrats’ rejection of ‘compromise’

US President Donald Trump has attacked Democrats for rejecting his proposals to end the longest government shutdown in US history.

He said his plans had been dismissed before he had even presented them.

Mr Trump had offered “compromises” in exchange for funding for his security wall along the Mexican border, the issue that has caused the shutdown.

But Democrats called the proposals “unacceptable”, a “non-starter” and “hostage taking”.

Twins get some ‘mystifying’ results when they put 5 DNA ancestry kits to the test

One set of identical twins, two different ancestry profiles.

At least that’s the suggestion from one of the world’s largest ancestry DNA testing companies.

Last spring, Marketplace host Charlsie Agro and her twin sister, Carly, bought home kits from AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, 23andMe, FamilyTreeDNA and Living DNA, and mailed samples of their DNA to each company for analysis.

Despite having virtually identical DNA, the twins did not receive matching results from any of the companies.

‘Islamophobia’ Invention Has Served Its Purpose Spectacularly Well

Critical thinking is now considered bigotry when Islam is the subject.

“Islamophobia” is an idea recently invented and defused by advocates and apologists for Islam for the purpose of silencing criticism of Islam. The term “phobia” indicates an irrational fear, which is how users of the term hope criticism of Islam will be understood.
