The border crossers issue has weakened Trudeau’s Quebec base

On Oct. 1, 2018, election day in Quebec, the 15-year run of the Quebec Liberal government will come to an end. The surging centre-right party, Coalition Avenir Quebec (CAQ), known as the Coalition for the Future of Quebec, will bring an end to the Philippe Couillard-run Liberal government and win a majority government.

One of the issues that has helped the CAQ and hurt the Quebec Liberals is Trudeau’s horrible mishandling of the illegal migrant issue in Quebec.
