MANDEL: Front-line officer decries sad state of policing in Toronto

It’s another police siren call about all that’s currently wrong with the state of policing in this city.

Mayor John Tory asked for input and this frustrated front-line Toronto cop has penned an impassioned and thoughtful letter about the problems he sees – including the end of police carding, too many of his colleagues comfortably sitting behind desks and unacceptable wait times for citizens requiring police assistance.

But he won’t let us use his name.

Know this. Toronto is a Liberal-left city, this issue will never get better, only worse.
