The Trudeau government and British Columbia were taken to the woodshed Sunday afternoon by the parent company of Kinder Morgan Canada.
Houston-based Kinder Morgan, frustrated by the actions of the B.C. government and the City of Burnaby, said it is suspending all ‘non-essential’ work on the $7.4-billion Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project until B.C. stops obfuscating its progress.
Both B.C. and Ottawa are about to learn, and very publicly, what happens when governments don’t recognize the importance of supporting corporate investment.
Justin doesn’t care. He doesn’t want the pipeline built because it’s 2018 or something. His handler’s have done the math, pretending to support the pipeline while simultaneously throwing up regulatory roadblocks will ultimately result in the least loss of overall electoral support and still fulfill the the LPC agenda of crippling the oil industry.
