The New York Times is investigating past tweets by Quinn Norton, a journalist who just joined the paper’s editorial board, HuffPost has learned.

Definitely something different for the Times.

Update: Quinn Norton was fired by the times this evening, on her Twitter account she explains who she is and frankly she makes a good argument for context or the absence of it. This is looking like a Twitter lynching.
