The destruction of Paris: How the city of light became the city of garbage

France is a large country and its ability to temporarily house migrants shouldn’t be a big problem, in theory. In practice, however, migrants don’t migrate once in France, ironically, but concentrate; the best example being the infamous Calais camp or “Jungle”, from where they seek a way of entering the United Kingdom.

But please don’t call it a shithole. Swearing upsets people.

Oh goodness, you don’t think it looks like that where they came from???

    • Exactly! We demand that our political leaders must be way too dignified to indulge in denigrating people who put defecate in our city streets, make those streets gauntlets of abuse and terror (especially for women and girls) and suck welfare money out of our taxes. We apparently prefer political leaders who denigrate the hard working, god-fearing people (clingers to guns and religion, per Obama) who pay those taxes. How dare those deplorable xenophobes (thanks Hilary!) get angry when their own money is taken by the government and used not to enhance the education, job prospects and living conditions of their own children but to bring in more of these! Why would anyone feel like swearing?

    • But … it is!

The one thing I noticed when I went to Paris in 2016 was the Islamic Graffiti everywhere. In my mind that’s the first step towards shithole status.

Stealing public space and using it for illegal private purposes is pure rent seeking.
The vote whores and public safety officials who are allowing it to happen should be denounced and driven from office.

Paris was a shit hole 40 years ago, at least they have found a way to cover up all the dog shit.

  • Paris has become the Beirut of Europe.

      • Islamists ruined Lebanon. Before the Mullahs, Tehran was also a beautiful place.

Paris, Brussels and other European cities are looking similar to those places during their transition to what we see today.

Antibiotic resistant TB often grows out of third world misuse and abuse of real drugs or even being sold counterfeits. The result is usually treatable at a cost of about US$1mil per patient to the taxpayer. If the patient can be persuaded to stick around for the one year the treatment takes.

It’s here in Toronto as well. After my Kidney Transplant it was suggested to me that there are some people you don’t want to be around. All done at TGH very hush hush.

So much for the romantic promise of Springtime in Paris.

“April in Paris” was written 85 years ago by songwriters who had never visited the city before.
