Stephen K. Bannon Steps Down from Breitbart News Network – Breitbart

Stephen K. Bannon has stepped down from Breitbart News Network, where he served as Executive Chairman since 2012.

Bannon and Breitbart will work together on a smooth and orderly transition.

Remember boys and girls, everything you think you know is probably wrong.
Is Bannon a good guy or a bad guy?
There lots of evidence in both camps.
Why is Breitbart showing him the door?

    • In time we may know.

    • Absolutely right.

Bannon is a good man and a genius! The very “Deep State” globalist, neocons that he fought so hard against ousted him both from the White House and from Breitbart. The evil globalist “Deep Staters” are back with vengeance! More below:

In any case he is now a footnote. Perhaps he can get a gig on RT.

Why am I reading yesterday and today that Bannon was an early anti-Trumper then went full-on Trump?
Why is this news to me?
        Has anyone else heard that?

I hate to delve into conspiracy, but it was like everything was fine, then it wasn’t and for no obvious reason. I’m inclined to believe little of what I read these days.

    • The Keith Richards of politics.

Rush Limbaugh said other day from ‘good sources’ that Bannon was the biggest leaker in the WH……. to NYT Haberman ,Politico etc

Wolff had dinner at Bannon DC apartment

        • Dana Garcia

Wolff is not the sort of writer to whom one should rant and reveal. I’m surprised Bannon could be so dumb.

          • Drunk by Noon ✓

I don’t think the guy’s dumb. I just think he’s [playing a game we don’t yet know about.
When you don’t know the real motivation, it makes the actors look dumb, when they are not.

Jorge Ramos joins Tucker tonight to discuss immigration. at 8

    • Yes, DACA is bad. If Trump accepts it, he will lose a lot of credit with his base. If he refuse, it looks like the Dems can block him from delivering on Immigration and the Wall. Dilemma. Politics is the art of the possible. It looks as if Trump is opting for a compromise (not that I approve, just observing).

        yes…he needs 60 votes

cant even count on backstabbing GOP

Perhaps now Breitbart can get back to being more like Andrew and less like Steve?

There are still some good journalists there who can step up: John Nolte, Joel Pollack and James Dellingpole are all in the Andrew Breitbart mould and are a mile ahead of the hacks in the msm.

  • Jay Currie

Sorry to see Bannon go. He annoyed all the right people.

Now, was he dumb talking to Wolff? Assuming he actually did then, yes, that was dumb. Not to mention speaking imprecisely to an aptly named “journalist”.

I doubt it was a false flag or high concept, 3D chess – it was just dumb.

Which means Breitbart loses a smart guy.

I suspect Bannon will be back. Likely around Y3.5 of the Trump Presidency when the base is suddenly going to matter.

If Trump needs Bannon to bring back the faithful after he’s spent three and a half years disappointing them, then Bannon ain’t going to be enough.
He just has to build the wall and deport Mexicans, after that, he can do anything he wants.

    • No, I think Bannon has run his course, He will of course try to come back somehow, but he will peter out quickly. His downfall from the WH was his first step back. His attempt at kingmaking in AL was crucial to his stardom: if he had succeeded he would have a big political clout; but he failed. His babbling to Michael Wolff was his last try; and this brought on his downfall for good. I liked the guy; but something was lacking, obviously.

  • Well, Bannon had this coming. He betrayed Trump, by besmirching him and his family, and he betrayed the Deplorables that Trump works for. Breitbart did the right thing, because its credibility was at stake. I wonder who will replace Bannon, now? There are many great people qualified to do so.
