Wikileaks publishes Wolff’s “Fire and Fury” book as a pdf

From Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge:

Since, somewhat ironically, WikiLeaks picked a google drive to host the leaked pdf, it will unlikely remain available for an extended period, as it would mean substantial lost revenue for book published Henry Holt and Company. So for those who wish to read what all the hoople is about – for free – they are advised to do so sooner rather than later.More.

Reality check: However long or short the book remains up at Wikileaks, this episode shows how the internet simply nukes traditional publishing business models.

The basic problem is that, whether we think our media betters are good people or bad people, they are not needed people, not the way they once were. Not when we can all go on the internet and read pretty much anything. We need interpreters, yes, but we have the right to choose them for ourselves. Few people are choosing the mainstream media in any expectation of getting centrist opinion.

This book actually starts off okay, in that it doesn’t immediately go off into the weeds, but it only waits a couple of chapters to suck you in, then it goes off into bizarro world.
I see no real credibility here.

No, it downloads fine if you do it like so:
      1. Install a pdf printer on your computer (I have Bullzip pdf printer)
      2. On the download page, choose “Print” and select your pdf printer to print to.
      Worked for me.

Yep, I now got it saved and readable in PDF Pro and in iBooks on my iPad as well as a copy on my Synology server.
        Yep, that’s been utterly compromised.
I’ll be requesting a refund on my Audible book.
This thing has no redeeming qualities.
