Palestinian ‘Refugees’

It has been suggested that counters don’t think and it is thinkers who really count. Nowhere is this mantra more applicable than to the perennial issue of Palestinian refugees, driven from their homes by cruel Israeli conquerors. Ever since 1948, when Israel defeated the armies of surrounding Arab nations determined to eradicate the Jewish state, the flight of Palestinians has remained high on the international list of grievances attributed to Israeli malice.

    7.2 million refugees. Dream on.

The Palestinians are like Canadian Aboriginals – they keep their status through bloodline – so a kid born today in Toronto who has never set foot in the Middle East is considered as a Palestinian Refugee.

Over 4 million ethnic Germans headed eastward after the war. We don’t hear about Silesian and Pomeranian refugees because the camps they headed to were a way station to settling elsewhere. As for the Near East, we don’t have camps full of Greek Cypriots running criminal gangs with UN money. The ‘refugee’ problem could have been settled by 1960 if UNRWA and the Arab governments hadn’t taken steps to perpetuate it.

UNRWA is the original welfare racket. Its people make a lucrative career out of the misery of others and want nothing more than to perpetuate their exploitation.
