Oh Great… A Woke Robin Hood

New Robin Hood film will see hero suffer PTSD after returning from Crusades

For some, Robin Hood will forever be Errol Flynn swashbuckling his way through Sherwood Forest. For others, Kevin Costner’s pairing with Alan Rickman’s Sheriff of Nottingham was simply unimprovable.

A new version of Robin Hood, destined for release this year, is to reveal a rather different side to the beloved outlaw: a “seriously militarized anarchist revolutionary” returning from an unjust Crusade with PTSD.

The 2018 Robin Hood, played by British actor Taron Egerton, will see a hardened crusader believing he has been deceived into fighting for a “bull—t” cause, returning to England full of resentment.

Will he be black too? Moslem convert?

    • Yes he is Black.

Apparently social justice warrior blacks were wandering all over England during the time of the crusades, according to Hollywood.

That’s Little John, homie, just like in Robin Hood: Men in Tights ! And don’t tell Kathy I mentioned a Mel Brooks’ film ’cause I figure she’ll come looking for me, and I’m only about 15 minutes away from your place.

        Robin in the Hood?

        • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Perhaps Robin from the hood. Robin in the Hood is a folkloric character whose legends intertwine with those of Robin Hood. He is also known as the Green Man or Robin Goodfellow.

          ” Shut up, Bernard.”
          ” Yes, Minister”)

          Heh 🙂

He will become transgender and make references to global warming. He will then convert to Islam and blow up his suicide vest in a packed Christian church. The movie will win 10 Oscars including best picture.

    • That trajectory seems right.

Maid Marian will wear a bag over her head and get beaten by rods, for talking to a Jew.

    • Blacksmith

And make about 12.50 at the box office.

And they wonder why most Hollywood movies do lousy at the box office.

  • Without doubt.

  • Blacksmith

Can’t wait not to see it.

    • Killer Marmot

I would pay a lot of money not to have to see it.

  • k1992

“The unjust cause” of the Crusades – yeah, because the unprovoked muslim aggression against formerly Christian lands was SO just. Damm, I hope it flops big time.

  • Clink9

    Men In Tights.

  • How is saving Jerusalem from Islamic invaders a “bullsh–” cause?

Was the Battle for Britain a “bullsh–” cause too?

    • Maurice Miner

Given the state of the United Kingdom today, I would probably say “yes”.

      • Oh, dear …

        • Maurice Miner

Yes, I said “probably”, because no-one really knows how things would have turned out if the Krauts had won the Battle of Britain.

Given the German political mess today, the open borders and open welcoming of a million + rapefugees, these are the same people who took the world to war, and almost won.

It may be the case that the outcome would not be of any significant difference.

The U.K. is pretty much fucked, particularly in Mohammedan enclaves around the major cities. The U.K. has probably been on the road to white genocide for the last 40 or 50 years (just ask Enoch Powell) whereas Germany has only embarked upon cultural suicide in the last decade or so.

You have to look at the entire welfare/state education/health care/underlying demographics (not enough taxpayers for future promised pensions)/ the destruction of the family/global warming alarmism to see that it is the same people who have gained control of all of these instrumentalities of “benign” government, and unfortunately, democracy comes down to two wolves and a sheep voting for tonight’s dinner.

          Oh, dear …

          • The UK went full pelt downhill after the war. The things that made the UK workable became irrelevant and now, one has the current situation.

The UK went full downhill during the war went they sent Churchill packing because they thought that the Labour party could bribe them with their own money. Boy were they wrong.

          • It was about this time that Britons elected to be more socialist than the socialists.

And they wonder why their movies are tanking. It’s because they suck.
