GOLDSTEIN: Trudeau will fall 66 Mt short of 2030 greenhouse reduction targets

The Trudeau government has finally admitted that even if it implements every one of its current climate change polices, costing Canadians tens of billions of dollars, it will still fall far short of its greenhouse gas reduction targets for 2020 and 2030.

But the peasants having to pay carbon taxes, is a small price for little Justin and Climate Barbie to wine and dine at European climate parties.

Being liberal isn’t about achieving, it’s about posing.

    …Mr.shitwater has to go.

Minus 23 now, even I didn’t go out skiing today.

Could use some of that globull warming.

Our Calgary high today is -27 and with the wind (11-17 km/hr) right now it feels like -40. This coming week we get a chinook and temps will be around 0 to 3 degrees and sunny so some of our snow will melt.

      • just_one_Sewer Rat_guy

Two hours ago, it was -35 (no wind chill) at my end of the city.

          4C in Vancouver and sunny.

          Feel my pain.

  • They’re setting you up for more carbon taxes.

  • Millie_Woods

And for my next trick, I will balance the budget.

  • bargogx1

That of course means more economic punishment for us lowly citizens.

  • simus1

    It’s a scam.
The gullible hollow people who have been spoon fed their entire education under the watchful eyes of marxist overseers are the only ones who really “believe”.

I’m waiting for the vapid traitor to go full maduro and just legislate all fuels illegal.

  • Cat-astrophe

Carbon taxes are intended to turn us into Greece so the United Nations financial arm can own us.
At -37 deg C where I live this week (not including the heat sucking wind) the carbon taxes on heating fuel is criminal.
Those who are doing that to us, when that bloody gas is a need, not a want, should be hung.
    Just like Mussolini.

The communities in Northern Alberta where demand is so high and the NDP have declined permission for a new pipeline to bring gas to the community. The current line is loosing pressure because so many people are using extra gas since they hit below -40. Now the libe pressure is too low to properly feed those homes and people are freezing.

Thanks. Worked in the Rainbow Lake in the past…know many people who have lived in the County.
I used to be a Gas well/plant operator (Instrument Mechanic now) and see no excuse for this political madness surrounding our northern lives.
These internationalist conspirators…. masquerading as our politicians…. SHOULD be tried as traitors to our Nation because they do not care for OUR lives.

        • Exile1981

          I worked in Zama.

          • Bataviawillem

            That’s way north.

          • Exile1981

The plant was less than 10km from the BC border and 50km from the NWT. Now I work north of Fort Mac.

Too bad we don’t have a real news media in this country. Bell Media’s ties to the Liberal Party would make a great investigative story. No secret that in Bell’s media empire, anything to do with the Liberal Party is wonderful. I just watched CTV’s interview with little Justin, and I was expecting Lisa Laflamme to sit in his lap and kiss him, she was so enthralled with the little toad. Most of answers made no sense, and of course everything is Harpers fault. He defended giving Khadar all that money because the poor terrorists rights were violated, and he believes returning ISIS fighters can be turned into nice people. And of course diversity is our strength.

  • It was never about stopping pollution but controlling people.

    When do the riots start?

    • just_one_Sewer Rat_guy

When it gets above 0* F….

      • Take away people’s beer.

        THEN the riots will happen.

        • just_one_Sewer Rat_guy

They pretty much already have! When I’m paying almost $20 for a six pack, they have almost priced it out of existence.

          • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

Move to Newfoundland and brew screech.

          • And when are the riots?

Let today’s frigid temperatures be a reminder as to why Canadians have one of the highest carbon footprints in the world on a per capita basis.

That means as we grow the population we grow the nation’s carbon footprint.

If this government was serious about fighting climate change it would seek to stabilize the population, not increase it through mass immigration where most of the immigrants are coming from countries where their carbon footprint is low. By moving to Canada they increase their carbon footprint simply by walking off the plane and living here.

Fighting climate change is all theatre for this government.
