    • Thanks;)

Was that a meeting with IQ80’s defense Minister and his aides?

  • Dave

Trudope and military procurement is like mitilary and intellegence, an oxy-moron. Emphasis on moron. This is just one more thing the boy-blunder can, and will fuck up.

    • canminuteman

Honestly, Canada has been horrible at military procurement since 1867. It isn’t something we have ever taken seriously and the defence budget has ALWAYS been more about dishing out political favours than defending the country. I suppose it is a luxury of having powerful allies and friendly neighbours.

Canadian National Defense Policy has always been! We live next to the US…

        • ECM

Oddly, despite being thousands of miles away, Europe adheres to the same doctrine, freeloaders.

You just know, that if Justy gets his hands on that display, it’ll be in his bathtub tonight as he makes brapp, sounds with his lips

  • Jaedo Drax

Who else is bidding on it, and what stupid requirements are shoehorned into it to insure liberal graft?

Also, when will the defence minister get around to announcing that we are buying used frigates?

  • Mr. Meow

It’s not a matter of is this the right ship for Canada? But how many jobs will this create in Quebec?

  • ontario john

Doesn’t matter how much money can be saved by buying European frigates. Too much money passes hands between the Liberals and Canadian shipyards. And don’t forget those Liberal voters in Quebec and the Maritimes.

    • canminuteman

There are a lot of good reasons to ensure that Canada maintains the capability to build it’s own warships. If you are serious about national defence, having the capability to create hardware is even more important than having hardware.

Will there be a muslim prayer room and halal diet aboard, as well as transgender heads. And will it be captained by Capt. Hindgrinder?

  • simus1

    Shades of Paramax Defence Systems.
That Chretien conducted train wreck has a very small internet footprint for reasons unknown.
Unlike the ever popular Avro Arrow fable.
    Plus ca change ……………..

I wonder if it will be a green ship? Wind power? Or perhaps solar power? The colours seem to be too aggressive to me, and may cause micro aggressions and trigger someone. It should also represent more diversity, so no white people are allowed. We need safe spaces on board, because, hey, even the enemy needs a teddy bear and a hug too. And one more thing. Extra capacity bilge pumps to deal with the flood of tears cast every minute.
