France’s Macron says world is losing battle against climate change

“We’re not moving quick enough. We all need to act,” Macron said, seeking to breathe new life into efforts to combat climate change on the second anniversary of the Paris accord.

Yes, lots of politicians and Hollywood actors flew there in their private jets to wine and dine at taxpayer expense, to think up new ways to tax the peasants.

    • Macron’s priorities.

      Climate change!

      What about population change?

I suppose it all makes sense. Once France is remade into 7th century Islam their use of fossil fuels will go down.

It is a fairly simple proposition. Build a supercomputer system and prove it can accurately forecast the climate over the next thirty years by real results .
Then I will become a devotee IF It WORKS.
Otherwise shut up you vile scam artists.

Bah, far easier to tweak the historical temperature records, disposing of the original data and preserving only the ‘adjusted record’. This way you can demonstrate global warming over the last 50 years (due to a 20 year hiatus in warming, the last 30 years is not adequate). This is how it seems to have been actually done to ‘prove’ Global Warming, I mean Climate Change, I mean Climate Disruption since now cooling temperatures is said to ‘prove’ what used to be called Global Warming.

You might think they would find the idea of doing precisely that combined with blatantly stealing most of the two trillion would
        have some appeal.

Macron sees himself as one of the global elite who will be running the world once most countries sign up for the single governance driven by Global Warming treaties. Once you control supply of a country’s energy, you control that country and you control the wealth of that country.

It was never really about Global Warming, it was about discovering a means to force countries to sign up to have their energy controlled by a global elite. The MSM wants to be in that global elite, otherwise they would have complained about the real agenda that the elite are not hiding because they know there is very little the little people can do about it. And what is that plan?

“One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole,” said Edenhofer, who co-chaired the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015.
So what is the goal of environmental policy?
We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy,” said Edenhofer.
For those who want to believe that maybe Edenhofer just misspoke and doesn’t really mean that, consider that a little more than five years ago he also said that “the next world climate summit in Cancun is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated.

“We’re not moving quick enough” is politician-speak for “The public is starting to realize it’s all a scam, and we still haven’t finished robbing them blind!!!”

  • “…world is losing battle against climate change”

Thank goodness some good news for a change. If we keep losing this battle hopefully we will give up. Trying to fight Natural Climate Change will only piss off Mother Nature worse.

I’m afraid that it will be a long time before New York City turns into Miami.

    • Watchman

Yeah, but it’s solely due to the change in climate that is making Sweden look like Somalia, right?

Trudeau’s posturing on climate change is just that: posturing. Were he serious about it he wouldn’t be jet-setting about the globe preaching about it consequences. The technology exists so he can stay in Canada and conference over the internet. He can set an example.

What’s more is Canadians have one of the highest per capita carbon footprints in the world yet this government insists on growing the population with mass immigration from the third world. These people have lower carbon footprints in their home countries and instantly increase that footprint by settling in Canada. Canada’s immigration system actually contributes to climate change.

Were Trudeau serious about climate change he’d seek to stabilize the Canadian population not increase it further with immigration. But I imagine he believes taxing us further with carbon pricing schemes will neutralize that effect. That is if he gave any thought at all.
