The U.S. Media Yesterday Suffered its Most Humiliating Debacle in Ages: Now Refuses All Transparency Over What Happened

Friday was one of the most embarrassing days for the U.S. media in quite a long time. The humiliation orgy was kicked off by CNN, with MSNBC and CBS close behind, with countless pundits, commentators and operatives joining the party throughout the day. By the end of the day, it was clear that several of the nation’s largest and most influential news outlets had spread an explosive but completely false news story to millions of people, while refusing to provide any explanation of how it happened.

This is an excellent analysis of the media bias and unprofessionalism south of the border. Thanks for sharing.

    • Although, at least there’s an analysis south of the border. North of the border, “mum’s the word”.

Like whether you went to Justin’s secret, off the record, airplane meeting about the China fiasco.

True! Or, if you deviate from the accepted speaking points, you are “racist, Islamophobic, bigoted, or ‘extreme right wing fascist.'”

I once had a discussion in a chat room (remember them?) back in the 90s where I said, in a parliamentary system, the prime minister and the ruling party had a dictatorship since there was strict party discipline and there was no written constitution. Well people from Canada and England savaged me and said it doesn’t matter that there’s no constitution because people would be demonstrating/rioting in the streets and the “ruling/elite class” wouldn’t allow it etc etc etc..

But it seems Canada/England are moving fairly quickly to some form of police state and even the US is not far behind.

I wouldn’t think that here, north of the border, is much different.

They’re also not outing the sources that is standard journalistic practice when the media get burned as a warning to others and to alert other media that the source is untrustworthy.

There are still many dem voters who believe the lies, regardless of whether or not they’ve heard the truth when it finally comes out. Evil is good, the truth is a lie.

Hate is never having to say you’re sorry.

Don’t even trust last night’s sports scores on CNN, check a more trusted source like the National
Enquirer. I was so happy when I signed up with Shaw and was able to not get the Clown News Network or MSNBC.
