Iraq declares war with Islamic State is over

Iraq has announced that its war against so-called Islamic State is over.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi told a conference in Baghdad that Iraqi troops were now in complete control of the Iraqi-Syrian border.

The border zone contained the last few areas IS held, following its loss of the town of Rawa in November.

The Iraqi announcement comes two days after the Russian military declared it had accomplished its mission of defeating IS in neighbouring Syria.

They seem to be regrouping in Canada’s liberal party.

Air Canada better put on extra flights for all those returnees. Little Justin will be waiting at the airport with his cheque book.

  • It’s not over. It’s not over until they hunt down, capture/kill/prosecute the ones who escaped. Because they will regroup at another time and place, and under a different name, or perhaps under the same name.

  • The Kurds and the Russians sure did help!

If you don’t stamp out every smoldering shitpile, it’s going to erupt eventually. You have to flatten all of them absolutely. Find every one of them from age 6 to 80 and kill them. Kill them all. Make it a monument the other Arabs tell stories about for a thousand years. Or you can do this every 5 or 6 and keep repeating it for the next thousand years anyway.
