Universities strive for ‘Christmas’-free campuses

As another Christmas quickly approaches, colleges across the country are issuing their annual guidelines on how to make the season as inclusive as possible.

At the University of California, Irvine, for instance, individual departments are encouraged to “focus on celebrating a special occasion, instead of a specific holiday,” suggesting that they have a “year-end celebration” or celebrate “seasonal themes such as fall, winter, or spring.”

‘Inclusive’. I don’t think that word means what they think it means.

    • Word’s have meaning?

Yes, but those meanings are fluid. So they mean what the person with the most victim points thinks they mean.

So if the highest point person is the listener and you say “Good morning” to them, they get to decide that at that moment your words really meant ‘I want to kill all of your kind, you xxx’.

I think you’re getting the hang of the whole ‘intersectionality’ thing. Well done comrade! 😉

I strive for inclusiveness as well. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the beautiful season of Christmas at my home just as long as you don’t act like an asshole.

Black Lives Matters will demand that all Christmas celebrations be replaced with Kwanzaa who’s founder was no doubt a profound inspiration to them.

    • Yea he was a swell role model.

    • Clausewitz

Well he was a flaming Marxist, so he’d fit right in with BLM.

  • The Chinese attempted to do this in universities but to no avail. The Chinese just preferred to celebrate Christmas:
