Bulgarian Parliament Moves to Criminalise Radical Islam, Support of Jihad, Sharia, Caliphate

Bulgaria – Camp of the Saints border fence

The Bulgarian parliament has moved to criminalise the promotion of radical Islam, including advocating a caliphate, religious violence, and sharia law.

The legislature adopted the amendments to the nation’s criminal code aimed at tackling radical Islam on their first reading this Wednesday.

They were proposed by a nationalist electoral alliance called the United Patriots (UP).

If we had a law like that most of the ndp and liberal mp’s would have been arrested.

Has anyone asked why, besides trump, that it’s the former soviet block countries that are leading the fight against the Islamic invasion of western democracies? Could it be because they have a much more recent memory of what it is like to live in a totalitarian hellhole? Could it be that they recognize what the future under islam will bring because they have already lived through it?

In the case of Bulgaria in particular, they have not entirely forgotten the horror of existing under muslim rule for centuries, having their sons stolen from them and forced into islam, their daughters taken randomly as sex slaves, living with second class status at the whim of their Ottoman tyrants. Wretched and horrible as life under communism was, life under sharia might be even worse.

  • This is no different from outlawing any other form of terrorism.

Bulgaria is a weird place, but they got this right. BTW, the food/dining in Bulgaria is amazingly good and really very cheap.

Wow, a country with leaders that actually have a spine, and actually give a damn about protecting their citizens, and don’t consider them expendable. Puts the sorry excuse for leadership in most other countries to shame.
