Typical of Islamic societies. Whereas in Western culture, inappropriate anger is usually viewed as a sign that a person is lacking in self discipline, as an indication of weakness, in the muslim world anger leading to loud yelling is considered the opposite: a sign of strength and power. He who yells loudest wins the argument, since their argument is then clearly superior.
