MSNBC’s Joy Reid of calls rural voters ‘core threat to our democracy’

A recent article by the Wall Street Journal had MSNBC’s Joy Reid declaring rural Americans “the core threat to our democracy” over the weekend.

Known issues with reality.

The host of “AM Joy” followed up her recent claim that the National Rifle Association seeks to create a landscape littered with murderous “warlords” with a new prediction over Thanksgiving: Rural voters will become de facto tyrants by 2040.

“This is the core threat to our democracy,” Ms. Reid tweeted Saturday night in response to a Journal piece titled “The Varied — and Global — Threats Confronting Democracy.”

Rural voters are the backbone of America. They keep the world turning through their hard work while city folk just keep fucking and fucking and fucking each other up the ass.

    • Bla Bla

She feels so badly, maybe the ‘rural’ folk should just blockade her and her like in their cities where they feel safe. Oh, no supplies in, and no nuts coming out.

I disagree, troll-BillyHW. BCF, Five-Feet and and the rest of the crew –all of whom live in the Toronto area — do NOT do as you false claim in your post. Oh, but then again, you support Justin, the vote-whore you so proudly use as your avitar. .

Surely there were plenty of good folks in Hiroshima too, but nuking it was still the right play.

I fully agree with you — and I might add that the bulk of the left-wing Big Media attack the U.S. bombing campaign against Japan. My post above was to chide troll-BillyHW for using foul language against anyone and everyone living in an urban area, such as the BCF editors, Jews living in Toronto, etc. I value the BCF fight against Islam, so I defend this site against trolls (like BillyHW) who support fundamentalist Islam and their allies in the Liberal party.

Back to the issue with Joy Reid and MSNBC. Back in 1992-93 I worked doing grassroots organizing against Alan Rock’s anti-firearms legislation. I found that there was strong rural-urban divide, with almost all rural people horrified with Alan Rock, liberals within cities favouring him, and some conservatives in urban areas (mostly PCers) not really caring very much one way or another. Following the debate back then, it was interesting to watch the Alan Rock’s anti-rural bias, and the anti-rural bias in the pro-Liberal media. This prejudice stil goes on, and I hate it.

Well if ya ever decide to grass-roots-organize a nuclear attack on Toronto, I’m in the book.

He’s got some good things to say on women’s suffrage though.

        Okay David.

Hate to tell this woman but there are a fair few non-whites who are rural also.

  • Keep talking, Miss Reid. Ensure a victory for Trump or someone like him. This is the new “deplorables” speech.

    • Drunk by Noon ✓

Well… I’m not so sure anymore.
It might invigorate Trump’s base, but what’s it doing to the rest of the political middle?
I think things are going to get weirder and WAY more racist, racialist, racial? Pick your term, but the adage of the previously considered racist nut-cases that said “your skin color is your uniform” are turning out to have been right.
      It’s a weird time.

Civil wars are coming in the west, some time over the next 50 years

      • No. This woman is a throwback from Hillary’s lost campaign. People have had it with the mud-slinging garbage and will vote accordingly.

Stupid she-boon needs a one-way ticket to Africa!

Her communistic fascism is a danger to common folk.

    • Bla Bla

She doesn’t care as long as she and her mugabe want to be’s get their riches – doesn’t matter how many die in the process. Amazing, they tell us how bad our nations are, then, instead of packing up and leaving, just stay put and cause more problems. Funny how that works.

About as funny as a lump in a fart.

Yeah I’m still not seeing the downside.

She is unclear on how or why our bicameral Congress exists. I guess they didn’t cover that in BLM University

  • Hard Little Machine

Hmm let’s make, oh I dunno, ‘camps’ or ‘plantations’ to ‘concentrate’ the population of rurals. You know, for their own good. They don’t need to vote or have any so called rights.
