Centuries-Old Church Bells Silenced After Single Noise Complaint

An historic church which has rung its bells since 1779 is to be silenced after a single noise complaint, in a move residents say threatens the “traditions and history” of the medieval town.

But who was there first? If the person moved into the area and beside a church want do you expect?

We have to stop the 1 person wrecks it for all… reminds me of that song that got banned across Canada by one person complaining.

So long as the British do not silence the Muslim’s call to worship, everybody in the Big Establishment is happy.

In 1779, the whiner would have been lynched.

Now stick a dozen loudspeakers on it and blast that minaret noise 5x/day.

No point in ringing the bells anyway. God left England many years back, and now satan runs the place. Except the fools call him allah.

I betcha the same idiot residence won’t have any complaints from a muzzie call of prayer (adhan) five times a day.

Most likely the complainant has the name Mohamed either as a first, middle, or last name.

This is like those idiots in Toronto that moved beside a garbage dump and then complained about the smell.
